These surnames appear in the GCRA MVD Extraction files found on the GCRA 2021 Data Drive.

This list of 1,397 surnames are for 8,164 individuals who were exiled from their homes in the Odessa area in the 1940s to 883 special settlement locations in Siberia and Central Asia. These individuals were from the enclaves of Glückstal/Hoffnungstal, Beresan, Liebental and a few from Kutschurgan. Birth places also include some from Bessarabia.

Included in each entry is the MVD File No., surname (few have alternate or corrected spellings and some have a woman's maiden name), given name, patronymic (father's name), birth and death years, birth place and district at the time of exile, and place of exile. Note that the surnames are Romanized and have no diacritics. When searching the lists below, also search for alternate spellings you may have for a surname.
